| Gerald Roy Clement, born
in the beautiful Welsh village of Pontarddulais, Wales in the United
Kingdom, is a self-taught artist who has developed his own artistic style
over some 50 years of painting. In recent years Gerald has favoured painting
mostly in Acrylic but has also undertaken commissions in oil and watercolour.
Gerald’s inspiration comes from the English countryside, where
he lived for most of his life, and more recently from the very different
climate and landscape of the Maritimes region, New Brunswick, after immigrating
to Canada in 2001.
Gerald has exhibited at many local exhibitions in the United Kingdom
and more recently in the Moncton Art Gallery and Shediac Gallery in New
Brunswick. He is a member of the Moncton Art Society.
