John Perriment has been a keen amateur photographer for over 30 years, specializing in landscapes. During that time he has travelled extensively throughout the British Isles in search of striking images, but has also taken many photographs in his native Essex. He has had photographs published in many magazines including Amateur Photographer, Outdoor Photography, Photo Answers, Photography Monthly, The Great Outdoors and This England.

Last year he gained the coveted Licentiateship Distinction of the Royal Photographic Society and self-published his first book, “The Light Fantastic,” using Blurb. John is now staging his first exhibition, which shares the title of his book and features around 40 of his images that illustrate his appreciation of the strong relationship between land and light in the making of successful photographs. John lives at Great Easton with his wife and teenage daughter.
